PAYMENTS AND CONDITIONS
THE LEAGUE FEE IS DUE BEFORE
THE START OF THE SEASON.
A 16-25 MAN ROSTER MUST BE
TURNED IN PRIOR TO THE START OF WEEK TWO. EACH TEAM IS ALOUD ONE MINOR WITH A SIGNED LETTER FROM THEIR PARENT STATING THAT…IT
IS OK FOR THEM TO PLAY AND BY CHANCE OF ANY INJURY B.D.L. AND MR. BOWMAN IS NOT AT FAULT.
PLAYER NAME AS WELL AS JERESY
# MUST APPEAR ON THE ROSTER.
SINCE THE B.D.L. IS A
LEAGUE OF BALANCE PLAY. TEAMS CAN’T STOCK THEIR TEAMS WITH A LOT OF A-BALL PLAYERS.
SIDELINE CONTROL
IT
DOES NOT MATTER TO MR. BOWMAN WHO HAS WHAT SIDELINE, JUST AS LONG AS BOTH TEAMS ARE NOT ON THE SAME ONE.
COACHES
AND CAPTAINS ARE TO BE IN CONTROL OF THE SIDELINE AT ALL TIMES NO MATTER WHO IS ON THEIR SIDE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL BE A
15-YARD UNSPORTSMANLIKE, SUSPENSIONS, FINE, MAKING THEM LEAVE THE AREA OR THE LAST STRAW IF IT COME TO IT CALL THE POLICE.
THE
TEAM / PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST EQUIPMENT, SO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR STUFF THE B.D.L. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN
GOODS.
ALL
PLAYERS MUST STAND INSIDE THE 20 YARD LINES UNLESS AIDING TO A INJURED PLAYER OFF THE FIELD OF PLAY. ONE WARNING AND THEN
15 YARD UNSPORTSMANLIKE WILL BE MARKED OFF.
PLAYERS
AND/OR ANY PEOPLE ON THE SIDELINES MUST STAND 3 YARDS FROM THE FIELD OF PLAY.
COIN TOSS
FIVE
PLAYER MUST BE PRESENT ON THE SIDELINE READY TO PLAY AT THE START OF YOUR GAME TO AVOID A FORFIT.
THE
TEAM LIST SECOND ON THE SCHEDULE IS THE VISITING TEAM AND MAKES THE CALL ON THE TOSS.
THE
COIN TOSS WINNER MUST BE READY TO ELECT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CHOICES, (KICK, DEFER, RECEIVE OR WHICH GOAL TO DEFEND).
EACH TEAM CAN HAVE ONLY 4 CAPTAINS
(COACH IS A CAPTAIN IF THEY COME TO THE FIELD FOR THE COIN TOSS).
TEAMS
MUST SHAKE HANDS OR ACKNOWLEDGE THE OTHER TEAMS CAPTAINS.
AFTER
COIN TOSS TEAMS HAVE TWO MINUTES TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO PREPARE FOR THE GAME. THIS INCLUDES TEAM HUDDLES AND PLAYERS.
PLAYERS
NEEDING FLAGS TO LARGER IN SIZE MUST BE CHECKED LEGAL TO PLAY JUST BEFORE KICK-OFF.
PREPARE
YOUR PLAYER FOR ANYTHING, AND REMIND THEM TO LET COOL HEADS PREVAIL.
MAKE
SURE YOUR PLAYER KNOW OR LOOK OVER THE RULES TO ENTIRETY.
MEASURES
OF TIME
GAMES
WILL CONSIST OF FOUR (4) 12 NON-STOP MINUTE QUARTERS.
30
SECONDS WILL BE GRANTED IN BETWEEN PLAYS ONCE THE BALL HAS BEEN SPOTTED.
EACH TEAM WILL HAVE THREE TIMEOUT PER HALF, AND ONLY ONE FOR OVERTIME.
OVERTIME WILL BE PLAYED BY COLLEGE
RULES. EACH TEAM WILL HAVE A POSSESSION FROM THE 25-YARD LINE WITH BEING ABLE TO GET ONE FIRST DOWN. A SINGLE GAME CAN GO
UPTO THREE OVERTIMES, AFTER THE THIRD OVERTIME AND THE GAME IS STILL TIED THAT IS HOW IT WILL WE RECORDED.
TWO
MINUTE WARNING WILL BE CALLLED, BUT THE CLOCK WILL KEEP RUNNING.
CLOCK ONLY STOP’S FOR REFS TIMEOUTS, GRANTED TIMOUTS, INJURYS AND UNDER 2 MINUTES ONLY AT THE END
OF EACH HALF.
LINE OF SCRIMMAGE
FOUR
PLAYERS MUST BE ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE (NOT ON THE DEFENSE) BEFORE THE BALL IS SNAPPED.
IF AN OFENSIVE MAN FINCH OR MAVE WITHOUT GOING IN MOTION THAT IS A FIVE-YARD PENALTY AND REPLAY THE DOWN.
ALL PLAYERS ON ANY PLAY HAVE TO BE FIVE YARDS AWAY FROM THE SIDELINE, THAT WAY WE KOW WHAT PLAYER IS ON
THE FIELD.
NO DEFENSIVE PLAYER CAN TOUCH THE CENTER UNTIL HIS HEAD COMES UP AND TAKE A STEP. A 15-YARD PENALTY WILL
BE MARK OFF. IF THE CENTER IS CAUGHT TRYING TO BAIT A PLAYER INTO NOT BEING ABLE TO ENGAGE THERE WILL BE A TEN-YARD PENALTY
AND A WARNING.
THE DEFENSE CANNOT TRY TO MAKE THE CENTER FLINCH AND OR TAUNT THERE WILL BE A 15-YARD UNSPORTSMANLIKE
PENALTY MARKED OFF, AND A AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN.
MORE THAN ONE FORWARD PASS IS A TEN YARD PENATLY AND LOST OF DOWN.
A
BLOCKER CANNOT LEAVE HIS FEET TO ENGAGE IN A BLOCK OF AN OTHER PLAYER, IT IS A TEN-YARD SPOT FOUL.
BLOCKING IN THE BACK IS ILLEGAL IN THE FREE BLOCKING ZONE (BETWEEN THE TACKLES FOUR YARD BOX).
NO TWO ON ONE BLOCKING. TEN-YARD PENATLY.
A PLAYER WITHIN FIVE YARDS OF THE SIDELINE
CAN BE PUSHED OUT WITHOUT THE OTHER PLAYER TRYING TO GO FOR THE FLAG.
HITTING A PLAYER THAT IS OUT OF BOUNDS IS A 15 YARD PENATLY AND A WARNING, THE SECOND TIME THAT PLAYER
IS TOSSED FROM THE GAME AND THERE WILL BE A FINE APPLIED.
TO PROTECT THE QB OR PASSER NO MORE THAN TWO STEPS OF INCIDETAL CONTACT WILL BE TOLERATERD. ANY PLAYER
TRYING TO DELIVER A BODY SHOT WILL BE TOSSED AND A FINE WILL BE APPLIED.
IF A PLAYER FALLS DOWN HE CAN GET BACK UP TO ADVANCE THE BALL IF HE HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED WITH TWO HANDS
DOWN.
A BACKWARD PASS IS CONSIDERED A LATERAL. A DROPPED LATERAL IS A DEAD BALL AT THE SPOT.
A RECEIVER ONLY NEEDS ONE FOOT INBOUNDS FOR A CATCH. UNLESS HIT OUT IN THE AIR BY A DEFENDER. A RECEIVER
HIT OUT AND WOULD HAVE COME DOWN IN BOUNDS WILL BE AWARDED THE CATCH.
PASS INTERFERANCE IS A SPOT FOUL. AN AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN.
NO ONE CAN BLOCK IN ANYWAY A PLAYER TRYING TO PULL THEIR FLAG THAT IS CALLED FLAG GAURDING AND THERE WILL
A 15-YARD PENATLY.
A BALL CARRIER CANNOT TRY TO RUN THROUGH A PLAYER WITH HIS SHOULDERS DOWN, A 15-YARD PENATLY WILL BE ASSESSED.
NO DEFENSIVE PLAYER CAN SAY THE OTHER TEAMS CADINSE A 10-YARD PENATLY WILL BE ENFORCED.
ALL TEAMS WILL BE ASK TO SIGN A RELEASE AND PLAY AT YOU OWN RISK FORM.
SCORING
1. TOUCHDOWN = 6 PTS
2. SAFETY = 2 PTS
3. EXTRA PTS FROM THE 3-YARD LINE = 2 PTS
4. EXTRA PTS FROM THE 10-YARD LINE = 3 PTS
5. A DEFENSE CAN RETURN AN INTERCEPTION ON AN EXTRA PT FOR 2 OR
3 PTS WHATEVER THE OFENSE IS GOING FOR.
KICKOFF
A KICKOFF IN THE LAST TWO (2) MINUTES OF EACH HALF MUST BE RETURNED BY THE RECEIVING TEAM TO AT LEAST THE
35 YARD LINE OR THE KICKING TEAM TAKES POSSESSION OF THE BALL AT THE SPOT.
TOUCHBACKS ARE PLACED AT THE 20-YARD
LINE WITH THE RECEIVING TEAM TAKING POSSESSION.
KICKOFFS WILL BE PLACED AT THE
KICKING TEAMS 40-YARD LINE.
KICKING TEES AND BLOCKS ARE ACCEPTABLE. BUT EACH TEAM HAS TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN.
A BALL MUST TRAVEL 10-YARDS ON THE KICKOFF BEFORE THE KICKING TEAM CAN RECOVER.
RECEIVING TEAM MUST HAVE 4 PLAYERS LINE UP ON THEIR OWN 50-YARD LINE OR 10-YARDS FROM THE PLACEMENT OF
THE BALL PRIOR TO THE KICKOFF.
ALL PUNTS ARE LIVE PLAYS GIVING THE DEFENSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BLOCK (CENTER IS AWARDED PROTECTION DURING
THE PUNT).
ANY KICKOFF THAT GOES OUT OF BOUNDS GIVES THE RECEIVING TEAM THE OPTION TO START ON THE 35-YARD LINE OR
ON THE PLACE THAT BENEFITS THE TEAM IF GREATER THAN THE 35-YARD LINE OR HAVE THE KICKING TEAM RE-KICK WITH A FIVE YARD
PENALTY.
DURING THE PUNT THE KICKING TEAM IS FREE TO GO DOWN FIELD ONCE THE BALL HAS BEEN SNAPPED.
ALL MUFFED OR UNTOUCHED PUNTS ARE CONSIDERED DEAD AT THE SPOT. PUNTS THAT ARE FIELDED CAN EITHER BE RETURNED
OR FAIR CAUGHT.
A FAIR CATCH BY THE RECEIVING TEAM CAN BE USED BY WAVING ONE ARM IN THE AIR BACK AND FORTH HIGH IN THE
AIR. A RETURNED FAIR CATCH IS A FIVE- YARD PENALTY.
A TWO-YARD HALO VIOLATION IS ENFORCED ON PUNTS RESULING IN A 15-YARD PENALTY.
HITTING
THE RECEIVER ON A PUNT BEFORE HE TAKES POSSESSION OR DURING A FAIR CATCH WILL RESULT IN A PERSONAL FOUL 15-YARD PENALTY.
EQUIPMENT
ALL
TEAMS MUST WEAR COLOR COORDINATED EXCEPTIONS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
STEEL
CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. PLAYERS WEARING THEM ON THE FIELD WILL RECEIVE A 15-YARD UNSPORTSMANLIKE PENALTY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE
TO RETURN WITHOUT CHANGING THEM.
PADS AND CASTS ARE ALLOWED ONLY AFTER APPROVAL FROM OFFICIALS. CASTS MUST BE COVERED WITH PADDING TO PREVENT
INJURY TO OTHER PLAYERS.
EVERY PLAYER MUST WEAR A FLAG. LARGER PLAYERS MUST CHECK WITH OFFICIALS FOR LENGTH APPROVAL. ALTERING
A FLAG WILL RESULT IN A 15-YARD PENALTY. TWO HAND TOUCH CAN BE USED IF A FLAG INADVERTENTLY FALLS OFF.
THROWING LOOSE OR PULLING FLAGS COULD RESULT IN A 15-YARD UNSPORTSMANLIKE PENALTY IF THE OFFICIALS DEEM THAT THE GAME
IS DELAYED BY ACTION.
VELCRO
FLAGS ARE ILLEGAL.
BALL CAPS MUST BE WORN BACKWARDS.
NECKLACES
AND EARRINGS ARE OK AND EARRINGS DO NOT HAVE TO BE COVERED UP.
